Saved by the Balls
Let’s go to the Max! Playing on one of the best sitcoms ever and a dear favorite to everyone on the team, especially the equipment manager Stan “The Max” Bullis, we recruited the Bayside Tigers crew who, no matter what the obstacle, always come out victorious in the end. Although we may all not be as athletic as AC Slater, we will prevail and win the Madness. The Bayside Tigers NEVER SAY DIE!
Team Members Include:
Our Principal “Mr. Belding” (Scott Lucius) – While he puts the PAL in Principal, don’t be fooled by his over-friendly demeanor. Strolling around the halls saying “Hey hey, hey, hey, hey. *What’s is going on here?” Is his way of sizing up on the competition in order to squash them.
Jessie “the win or I will die” Spano (Liz Hunt) – When she’s not saving the world or calling our rivals “pigs” she’s getting plays together that will crush all competition. But watch out for those caffeine pills, she’s SO EXCITED to hunt you down in the street like a rabid dog.
The Crazy Kelly Kapowski Sisters (Anna Theriault and Abby Ardis) – Oh yes, not one but two brunette bombshells who can dribble not only basketballs but ping pong balls…which usually land in beer cups hence the reason why they are more often seen on the sideline with pom poms and an off the shoulder sweatshirt. Give me a B!
Zack the Rookie Morris (Peter Williamson) – First year preppie and top draft pick, having to prove himself every day and trying to make it in a women’s world….. luckily he can call a time out whenever he wants … even if it’s only to talk to the camera.
Lisa one shot Turtle (Jamie Lucius) – She is one shot and done….doesn’t need to waste her time finishing up a game. She has more important things to tend to like the Bachelor, and develop signature dance moves…..and I will say she is a shocking resemblance to Lisa Turtle, pretty much looking in a mirror.
Violet the BOMB Bickerstaff (Ingrid Silewski) – She may look harmless to you but once those glasses come off and the braids come out ….she is unstoppable…..the Larry Bird of our team……
Screech Man Crazy Powers (Stephen Rule) – When he is not checking out the man candy in the stands, or dominating in chess tournaments, he has a Slam Dunk that no man can handle!!
AC the Slayer Slater (Michael Kelly) – Our secret weapon not only flashes those pearly whites and does charitable things like flexing his muscles for lonely singles, he’s also trained by the best and a recruit from the Harlem Globtrotters…he is always taking jump shots and getting air….some often wonder if he has a frequent flyer card for every airline.
And our two favorite General Managers – Lisa “the Spy” Campbell Baily and Jen “the Mama Bear” Ebetino who have been our biggest cheerleaders back at home. They don’t travel with us a ton but they are always with us in spirit.
